Only in Berkeley…

When Cinna and Roshan were married on an amazingly warm Berkeley day, it was a cultural melange of things Chinese and Indian. Cinna wore her spectacular red Chinese wedding dress and Roshan wore his traditional Indian wedding clothes. It was so nice to see guests of all cultures supporting their vows on this BIG day. However, the hills of Berkeley have other creatures who enjoy attending weddings as well… they are wild turkeys! As guests clapped for the newlyweds, the male turkeys fluffed their feathers and strutted as if the applause was for them! It was so cute! It was an evening of toasts and a ten-course family style Chinese dinner by Le’s Kitchen that wowed everyone! Gelato was enjoyed during the breaks in the dance music. To see Cinna and Roshan’s fathers dancing together hand-in-hand on the dance floor was the highlight of the evening! A good time was had by all… gobble, gobble!!
